Here are some photos from the beautiful exhibition of wire fantasies that can be seen at manos right now (until the shop gets its own blog I’m linking to my site as that’s where you’ll find the relevant info). This is Eva who has made the wire work.

Lots of these pieces are now available in manos online shop. The shop has also been updated with lovely cards from Urubbu, pots from my ‘delight’ series and charcoal horned pots - makes your plants happier!

Tomorrow (Thursday 7th August) is opening day for a new exhibition at manos, “Wire fantasies” by Eva Svensson. Eva recently graduated from Handarbetets Vänner as craft consultant and the work she is showing at manos was part of her degree project. On opening day the shop will be open from 11-7 pm. Welcome!

May has just flown by and next week is the last for Mr Black & Mme Ochre at manos. There will be a shop update next week with new pieces from the collection and then who knows what the future will bring for Mr Black & Mme Ochre? The next exhibition will be graphic, naive and wonderful steel wire work by Eva Svensson (above is a little taster), who recently graduated from Handarbetets Vänner as a craft councellor. But before that I will have a stint of my ceramics fill up the wall and the tables, it’s so inspiring to have such a beautiful space to work with and in!
